A Student Assistance Program Built for Real Life

Get Confidential Help Through the Student Assistance Program

Classes, money, relationships, and family stress can pile up at the same time. A student assistance program (SAP) gives students a private place to turn when that happens, so a rough stretch doesn't get harder to handle. Encase EAP offers the Student Assistance Program to students whose schools offer it.

The Student Assistance Program is part of Encase EAP, the employee assistance program (EAP) offered through Productivity Partners. We stay in close touch with each school we work with, so students and school staff know where to turn.

Learn How the Program Works

What Is a Student Assistance Program?

A student assistance program is a confidential service that helps students with personal and school problems. Students can request confidential counseling through the program. They can also get referrals, which connect them with outside providers when they need more help. The program is part of Encase EAP, so students use the same login system as employees and members.

Your Privacy Comes First

How the Student Assistance Program Protects Your Privacy

What you share with an Encase EAP counselor stays confidential. We don't share it with your school or anyone else without your permission, except when the law requires it. That privacy is why we ask students to request counseling through their login instead of a contact form.

Support Starts With One Step

Why Early Support Matters for Students

Many students deal with stress, anxiety, or low mood while in school. Support can make a hard stretch easier to manage. The 2024-2025 Healthy Minds Study (opens in a new tab) surveyed more than 84,000 college students, and about 37% showed moderate or severe depression symptoms. About 32% showed moderate or severe anxiety symptoms. Among students with depression or anxiety symptoms, about 60% received treatment. The Student Assistance Program gives students a private way to start getting help.
